Our “Isle of Doughnuts” blend comes from our friends at Mukilteo Coffee Roasters in Langley, WA. We’ve partnered with them to create a robust blend that would best complement our menu.
Using select beans directly from farmers, MCR slow roasts our coffee in small batches to bring out the distinct flavors of each region — Costa Rica, Colombia and Sumatra.
We use the same 3-bean/3-region blend for our drip and specialty coffees (using different grinding methods [and grinders], of course).
OUR COFFEE MENU
Hot beverages are available in 8, 12, 16 and 20 oz sizes. Cold beverages in 16 and 20 oz. All coffee drinks are made with our new La Marzocco espresso machine.
Americano – 2 shots of espresso and hot water are added together creating a thin layer of crema for the true coffee lover’s coffee.
Latte – 2 shots of espresso with steamed milk and a light layer of microfoam.
Cappuccino – 2 shots of espresso and a little steamed milk topped with thick foam.
Mocha – 2 shots of espresso are mixed with dark chocolate and then combined with steamed milk and a light layer of microfoam.
Brevé – 2 shots of expresso with steamed half & half and a light layer of microfoam.
Macchiato – 2 shots of espresso topped with a dollop of thick “cappuccino foam.”
Caramel Macchiato – 2 shots of espresso are mixed with caramel and then combined with steamed milk and a light layer of microfoam.
Whole milk – used for all specialty coffees calling for steamed or iced milk, unless otherwise requested.
Half & half – used in our Breve and as a “creamer” for drip and black coffees.
Nonfat milk – for the calorie conscious.
